Infant Times

I decided to do something "fun" with Copper, something just for him, so he can be the little crazy baby that he is :) Turns out SBCC has a continuing ed class (for the parents) and the kids to learn about their development and be surrounded by kids their own age. We just had our first class and Copper LOVED it. There were a ton of other kids and moms there. Everyone was playing, laughing and we got to learn some great new songs that we can sing at home. I'm not really one for singing a lot but these were too good to pass up. All the babies went quiet when we started singing and boy did they have a good time!

We were treated to a sparatic visit with Mr. and Mrs. Parton recently :) They decided to come up to SB last minute and lucky us to get a call and join them for lunch! We went to the Dutch Gardens and enjoyed some Brats and Beer! Hope we get more of these visits ASAP!

New Gear for the New Year

We went on a beautiful family hike to Aliso Canyon Trail. It was a gorgeous December day and we just wanted to get away for a bit. Grampa gave us a hiking backpack for all those family adventures we would be going on :) Copper seemed to LOVE it and we did too.

Then he crashed :)

Good thing he woke up shortly after because we decided to have a date at the Cold Spring Tavern! We got there right before they closed for lunch and had a delicious meal! I had a pulled pork bbq sandwich and Ty had a buffalo burger! YUM! Top that off with a cold beer and we were in HOG heaven.

We had to have a little fun with Mr. C too :)

Bring on 2012... more adventures to come!

The Crawler!

Copper is crawling! He is just as excited as we are :) Not sure how I feel about having a "mobile" baby but I guess now is as good a time as ever! yay Copper! Now we are placing bets to see when he will figure out walking....
