Pumpkin Carving...

This last Saturday, we invited a few friends over to carve pumpkins! Everyone thought out their best creation.. I even brought out the Martha Stewart mag for ideas :) It is amazing what some people come up with!

Sofia and Charlie were beginning their creation

Ty was prepared!

Chris was hard at work!

This is what they came up with!

Introducing....

Baby Perkins!

That's right... you are probably just as surprised as we are! It's funny what happens when you love each other.... miracles happen :)
We found out about 4 weeks ago but didnt want to make a peep till we saw the doc. Friday was our very first appointment and we couldn't feel more blessed! We are gifted with a little "peanut" for now but baby Perkins is quickly growing and come May 31st we might just have a real baby...
We/I will keep the updates coming as often as possible. In between naps and work, there is little time to be spared.... It's amazing how much something the size of a green olive can tire you out! Lucky for me (knock on wood), I haven't felt sick at all. I was worried at first because a couple other preggos I know are sick out of their minds... When I mentioned this to our doctor, his response was... "quit your bitchin'!" I laughed out loud and its true, I need to take advantage of this non-ill time because it could creep around the corner any second!
Thank you to all our family and friends for the kind thoughts and prayers. We love you!

lllooonnnggg overdue!

Jeannie's Birthday

On October 11, we celebrated the one and only, the wonderful, the fabulous.... drum roll please.... Jeannie Perkins! Only the best mother-in-law ever... we all (Sabin, Jeannie, Ty, me, Dylan, Wyatt, Eddie) got together to celebrate the birth of Jeannie :) We dined on fresh caught lobster thanks to Tyson and Sabin for diving that day... and a scrumptious tri tip (can you say surf and turf?) It was delicious and we all had a blast talking and laughing! Of course there was cake too... we were stuffed to the brim but had to squeeze in some cake, and Sabin didnt forget the candles :) Happy Birthday Jeannie, we all love you!

The lobsters we dined on!

The boys even cleaned up after dinner :)
