9 month check up

Copper finally had his 9 month check up... I say finally because he hadn't been in to see the doc since he was 4 months! First was the cardio check up to check on his little ticker... he is just fantastic and the doc couldn't say how happy his was with his growing heart! The doc doesn't anticipate any future problems with his valve but we still need to check in again in 6 months :) Great news for Mr. c!
Next was the pediatrician check up. I was excited to see how much our little brut was going to weigh... He topped the charts at 29 inches and 20.5 lbs! He had grown 3 whole inches in 4 months! All that sleeping is doing his body good... mine too :) My favorite comment from our doc, "Look at those tree trunk legs he's got!" Yep, that's my boy!

9 months

How can Copper really be 9 months already?? He is growing sooo fast... too fast. He is more loveable everyday and we cannot get enough of this crazy little boy!
He has recently figured out how to point his little baby index finger at everything he notices. He points and grunts most of the time :) He is also pretty good at saying "da da da da.." Whenever I ask for "ma ma ma," he just replies with, "da da da da."
We are noticing that mr. c has quite the sense of humor... got that from his Dad for sure! He laughs and giggles at us when we are acting ridiculous, trying to make him smile... and he has quite the array of facial expressions!
As far as eating is concerned... Copper will eat anything and everything! This kid powers down blueberries like he is made of them! He really enjoys all fruit and loves snacking on bread. He is learning to master his sippy cup but most of all we LOVE that he is not picky at all with food! Can you tell?
Copper is also standing and walking with support, and he is a pro at crawling :) He is getting into everything and anything he can get his hands on... and testing limits already.
The count down is on to the 1 year mark!
Did I mention he loves to be naked?

having fun at dinner...
out to dinner with the grandparents :)

Papa dressed him up :) practicing his point too

and bath time only gets more fun!

getting into everything... and everywhere!
